Check-In / Check-Out
Check-in is at 3:00 PM and check-out is at 11:00 AM. Arriving early? Call ahead and we'll do our best.
Cancellations
Cancel well in advance for a $25 fee. Cancellations 7–21 days before arrival incur a $100 fee. Cancellations less than 7 days out forfeit the full deposit.
Pets
Pets are welcome in the Trailhead Cottages, RV sites and tent sites. The Farmhouse, Deluxe Cabins and Deluxe Cottages are pet-free.
Linens
Linens and towels are provided in every cabin and cottage and in the Farmhouse. RV and tent campers bring their own bedding.
Discounts
Military discounts are available, as are group discounts for 5 or more sites.
WiFi
Cable TV and WiFi are available, but the rural mountain location means internet service can be spotty.
Getting to Buffalo Trails of VA
Buffalo Trails of VA is about 25 miles from I-77. Our physical address is recognized by Google Maps, Apple Maps and MapQuest; for other devices use GPS N37 17.067 W81 22.824 (37.2906, -81.370251). Some GPS units suggest alternate routes — we recommend:
Take I-77 exit 1 for US-52 N toward Bluefield and merge onto US-460 W / US-52 N. Stay on US-460 W to exit 3 for VA-102 toward Pocahontas. Continue on VA-102 W (College Ave) to State Route 696 (Big Branch Rd) and turn left. Continue to the stop sign, turn right onto State Route 644, and the property is on your left.
