Gas Station & Convenience Store

Top Off Without Leaving the Trailhead

The Buffalo Trails of VA gas station and convenience store sits at the foot of the campground. Ride your side-by-side or ATV right up to the pump before you head out on the Spearhead Trails, and fill the truck on your way home.

  • Fuel for side-by-sides, ATVs, dirt bikes, trucks and RVs
  • Grill: hot food to eat now or pack for the trail
  • Cold drinks, ice & snacks for the cooler
  • Renting? Trailhead Adventures machines go out full. Return them full or a refuel charge applies
Gas station open daily 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM. Grill hours change with the season. Call (276) 945-3089 for today’s grill hours.

Car Wash

Leave the Mud on the Mountain

Our self-serve car wash sits below the resort. Pull in with your machine, trailer or truck and blast off the Spearhead clay before the drive home or the next day’s ride.

  • Wash your own SXS or ATV right after the ride, before the mud sets
  • Rinse trucks & trailers so you don’t haul half the trail home
  • Rental tip: machines returned excessively muddy carry a cleaning fee, so a quick wash before return saves you money
